Monday Off

This week has been utterly crazy...working from Monday to Friday, then some events on the Saturday and Sunday that were actually very special and nice but leaves me exhausted at the end....Dhanika's wedding (congrats, babe!), then the art workshop (thanks, committees!)...hhmm...I really really need a rest, so I chose to take a day off today, as I am not feeling very well myself...sorry for the lack of posts! :)

Pictures from the wedding...

Te Casan Shoes

Te Casan has some amazing shoes by top desingers. And with their current sale these styles are even more affordable. Shown Fluke by Fay Baldock on sale $159.50 and Nafika by Niki Robinson on sale for $207.

Summer Ruffles

I love this new ruffle trend. It is fun and flirtatious. I especially like the bold colors and large floral prints. These two are part of the Go International Collection at Target.

Last of Seattle

My last day in Seattle was quite interesting. After checking out of the hotel, we had about 8hr to enjoy before flight departure; so, we decide to see movies--like 3 movies in a roll--never did that before because am not such a movie person. The first movie was "Happening" with Mark Walbert--not bad at all. The second movie was "Zohan" with Adam Sandler; this movie was so bad that some people left the theater before it was over and someone else was actually snoring during the movie:-( The final movie was "Stranger". Liv Tyler did a great job--scary and great.

As we spent the remaining 8hrs before fight, I noticed quite a stir at my shoes and lots of compliment. This lady actually came up to me to take a picture of my shoes for her blog. I was so flattered :-)

ps:I have to say thanks to those who stop by my blog xoxo

Flight...0622

I have been quiet busy. I finally got a break, so I decided to tag along to a trip to Seattle. I thought the weather will be as warm as Maryland; but to my surprise, I met a cool to cold windy weather. I wonder how some people here are able to call this weather summer and at the same time wear shorts. My hats off to them...next time, weather channel on my top to do list. Well, I wore tights with my skirt, other outfits in my suitcase are far from warm.

Vest & Shirt: H&M, Skirt: Gift, tights: Express, glasses: Forever21, shoes: converse & Aldo

The Tree of Life

There are countless life scenarios available for us humans waiting in the future. Neither do we know nor do we need to know about which we will submit ourselves to. One thing for sure though, they are consequences of our today.

First Day of Summer

Today is the first day of summer; so I decided to post different swimsuits. Right now, the one piece retro look is what I currently like. Hope you can find a perfect swimsuit for the beach this summer. Happy Summer!!! Don't forget your sunscreens. xoxo

Hammer Time

I am loving these "hammer pants". I have noticed a lot of these harem pants at asos website and later on Naomi Campbell and Rihanna. What do you think? Could you wear it?

Finally, some good news...:)

A long looooooong time ago, Sharjeel and I joined a t-shirt design competition for Pakwheels.com...it was way back on June 2007 (and that's like, 1 year ago?), that I hardly even remember about it since we never received any follow-up since then....

But the good news, turns out we won! Yaaaaaaaaayyyyyy...our design got selected, and is now the official merchandise of their website...so happy....:)

Here's one of the Pakwheel guys sporting the new t-shirt....

Cheers to us, love! :)

Check..Check...1 2 3...

Yayyyyyyyy!!! I've been asked to be a speaker for an upcoming art workshop in Bandung...so happppyyyy....:)

If only Sharjeel, if only you can be there to stand in between the crowd and give me the support while I'll be talking but having my eyes just on you....then we'll have a wonderful dinner at Kampung Daun afterwards...sigh....

It Leaves Me Confused...

This, is an Eley Kishimoto pleated collar printed shirt, priced $486 $389...

If only the world knew, there are millions of shirts like these in Indonesia, cuz hey, that's a batik print as a matter of fact, and you can literally get these for only $25, with quality.

Arrrgghhhh....I am confused on whether to laugh or be angry....help.

Do That Fringe

Boessert/Schorn fringe shirts, available at Creatures of Comfort...

I say, we've got some DIY works to do....:)
