Hello! Hello! Hello! I feel like I have been gone for too long. I had a good weekend, but extremely busy. As am typing, I am supposed to be fixing up my favor boxes--150 boxes to be precise.



Hope everyone had a nice weekend. All that is on my minds is wedding runs; so, I have to just get back to my task ahead :-/

What more could it be...?

I promised these pictures awhile back...I have finally had a chance to get a copy of it thanks for photographer friend "Paosin". Took this pictures at a friend's legal age celebration boat cruise/dinner. It was fun day!



On the other hand, I had a wonderful, surprised bridal shower. I can't wait to post the pictures; so keep checking back before the end of the week. And it is couple days to the big day. A little bit nervous, but everything seem to be going great.

Anyway, hope everyone had a fab weekend. And Ooh! I got 'beat' by the rain, while my friend/coworker laughed ;(. Yeah, I forgot my umbrella in the car--lesson learned! As I am writing, it is still pouring outside, andIi dislike thunderstorm.

These pictures are from a wedding. Arrived at Pennyslvania a bit to early before the wedding--checked into the hotel and decided to snap away. It was a beautiful intimate wedding.
It has been raining so much here. I am beginning to think that I leave in Seattle or London :) Anyhow, how is the weekend going for everyone? I have so much to do today including an assignment which is due tonight before I head out for a friend's bridal. Right now, I am about to head out to get my nails done and then pick up some bridal gift.

Around town...

My weeks have been busy with school and work; while my weekend goes by so quickly. It's been awhile; how is everyone doing? I have missed you guys A LOT!!! Gradually getting back to regular blogging and visiting all other lovely blogs. On another note, I can't believe christmas is almost here. I have started thinking about my list ;)

It's over: oh weekend

The wedding is over, including my weekend. Had a blast at the wedding--so many emotions, but fun moments. The bride/bridal train looked so beautiful. For the wedding, I decided to wear...(drum roll please)...LOL! The funny thing is that I didn't even wear any of the things I intended on wearing. I guess my mood changed few mintues before I left the door. I decide to wear a black skirt that has this studded belt and a white long sleeve shirt with this jewelry that is mixed with gold chain/pearls. The sad part is that I didn't even take any picture with my camera, so I am waiting for my friends to upload the ones they took. With the crazy rain, It kinda washed out my thinking regarding taking any picture--so no pictures for now. Hopefully my friends will post it before the end of the week; but I will still post other days outfit.

Thanks guys for wishing me well on my assignments. It went very well; now I have my first exam for the semester on Friday. I don't know whether to look forward to Friday or NOT.
To celebrate after my exam, I am thinking of a night out with the ladies...so PRAY for me :)

Labor Weekend!

Currently relaxing after a long day out. I am hoping to catch up on other blogs that I have missed and returning friends phone calls by tomorrow before my week begins. On the otherhand, I just bought this ankara material for a friend's wedding in October, but I have no tailor yet and I am bit confused as to what I want to sew with the material. Hopefully before this week runs down, I will decide whether to sew a dress or playsuit/jumpsuit with the material.
I am off to catch a movie with the fiancé with my strawberry smoothie with whipcream on hand...yummy :D

Cruise Control

After a long week of work + school, I had a lovely weekend. Since I was working on fiance's birthday, I had to organize a boat cruise with some friends. Yesterday was a LOVELY DAY--

Boat Cruise + Taking of Pelham123 + Pizza + Great friends= Great Day!!! :D

Sunday started off with a boat cruise, later on we all decided to see the movie "Taking of Pelham123"--IT IS A MUST SEE MOVIE--then we went to a friend's house, ordered pizza, and watching the Lakers win. GO LAKERS won--CONGRATS to them!!!!

As promised

Sorry guys, I have been so busy. Anyhoo, how is the weekend going for you guys??? This is the outfit I wore to a wedding party last Sunday. It was a very beautiful & youthful wedding. My only problem about a lot of Nigerian weddings is that people don't sick to rules. If they say, "NO KIDS", why bring your kids along and if they say, "INVITATION ONLY", why show up with all your friends and friend's friends---Gosh!, people respect rules ;)
On the others hand, the wedding was nice; my friend and I snapped away as we waited for the reception to start. I also took some notes for mine. ;)
Ok, I going to go do my nails now because I have another wedding in 5hours. I might stick to tradition clothes this time. Hopefully I don't change my mind. :D

Birthday Recap

I had an amazing time. My birthday seem to have lasted all weekend long starting from the actually day which is May 15Th. Friday started off with breakfast at Hilton with the fiance; after that, I went over to mom's place to pick up birthday gifts. From my mom's place, I went horseback riding for the FIRST time--SCARY AND FUN!!!

I had NO idea that we were going horseback riding until I got to the venue. Gosh, did my heart start bounding immediately I got on the horse. At first I thought it was one of those rides whereby the owner of the horse will walk beside me as I ride--Oh, did I get that WRONG--Immediately she left me on the horse alone with the quickest & shortest lesson on how to STOP the horse, I started PRAYING. I was imagining all kinds of movies and stories where people fall and fracture their spines. With that in mind, my prayer increased--"God, please don't let me fall, die or crippled on my birthday". To make my story short, I survived an hour ride alone through a trail that included scary slopes, mud, and pond. Later that night I went to see "Angels & Demons"--LOVE IT!!!

On Saturday after a shopping therapy, I had dinner with my friends at Kobe restaurant. I had this special drink in a Buddha cup specially for the birthday girl :D lol!

The weekend ended with friends and friend's graduating house party.

GO CART--the second activity after horse back riding. I don't have a picture of my on the horse, but I have a few seconds video of me looking terrified on the horse. I will try to upload it by Friday.

Could It Be A Thing About Red?

This is what I made for dinner, the steak is a bit burnt; but for a first time, I did a great job ;)


I seem to lean more and more to red things especially bags, lipsticks, and now this skirt. Gosh! I am loving this weather. I had an amazing warm weekend. The weather is getting to what I always wanted, which is WARM! :) Besides the warm weather, I thank God that my friend made it through her car accident. The front of her car was totally smashed and she sustained minor blushes. I was with her all through the evening; she is doing great. Feel better sweety.

Tint of RED

Its been a busy, tiring, and fun weekend. I have every guest imaginable--from London, Nigeria, to Canada. My house have never experienced this amount of guest before, but I am really enjoying the company even though my Londoners are living tonight while I am at work. :( I am currently working, but I am so tired. The weather is not helping either; it is such a MOODY weather. This is the week were I practically count down to Thursday, even though the week just began. :P
Anyways, did anyone have any interesting weekend activity? I don't mind reading because am so bored. LOL!!!

It's all behind

Easter came and went, now am back to reality after a weekend of fun, BBQ, and friends. Hope everyone had a lovely Easter. I keep wondering, will it ever get to be warm in this state lol. Gosh, I am so tired of cold weather. As you can see from my post below, I really need to wear my cut off jeans. At least, Saturday was warm for me to wear the above outfit. ;) Till then, let me just fantasize about warm weather & beach. I so need a vacation--thinking of going to the Caribbean, but don't know which part yet. Any suggestion????

From a nice weather to a wonderful weekend, I can't ask for more. I spent Friday stocking up on groceries and doing a little house decoration. Saturday, I spent practically the whole day getting my hair done--I've learnt NEVER to get my hair done on Saturdays [such a busy day at Jessica's salon]. Later that night, I went to AJ's for a game night and to hang with her sister Yinka who is visiting from Manchester. It was so nice to see her again after almost a year and meeting Miriam [she's such a sweetheart].
Right now am just relaxing and dreading Monday. :( Oh well, Friday will come again. Am looking forward to family visiting from London for Easter.
