Yeah! To a warm and beautiful day, but unfortunately, I just couldn't enjoy it that much because I have a paper to write. After a quick picture and a trip to get Mango/peach smoothie, I am sitting on my couch trying to finish this paper. 

I am really looking forward to more warm days without school work---Amen!

Within my reality

This week has been a busy week with school. Its like one case, paper, or assignments after another. I am really looking forward to summer break and a vacation.

Since the weather was warm a few days ago, I handed my camera to my friend Chioma to be my photographer for the day since hubby was at work.  It was fun playing photo shoot with her.

On another note, since the constant change in weather, I like incorporating boots to my outfits and there are great variety of women's boots that add a touch of color to an outfit.  You should check them out at www.very.co.uk for some great boots.

Now, I have to go back to my reality called school work, but I am so sleepy :)

Bright lights and colors

I had a wonderful weekend. I went bowling with my friends and ended cracking a nail. When it comes to bowling, I really suck. I had zero strikes in more the five rolls, but redeemed myself because I ended up not being the last.  :)

Oxford Circus...

This is not my first time in Oxford circus, but this is definitely the first time we actually drove to Oxford Street or just around London in general. It felt so weird driving on the right side of the road and on the right side of the car; but it was a fun and great experience.

After a long walk on Oxford Street, we decided to grab a bite at Nandos & Garfunkle's Resturant--Love the spicy sauce at Nandos and the Waffle & ice cream dessert at Garfunkle.

The pictures were taken the next day after I got to London. We all went to the hall where my husband's niece's birthday was going to be held. I was still dealing with time difference + jet lag, but I was ready to enjoy my visit.

Happy Weekend!!!

London was fun. Now I am back to my reality. I miss it already. I love traveling. I don't mind traveling every month, I could leave off my suitcase :)  

On the other hand, the weather is so nice here, so I can't wait to walking around. I am definitely getting a bike this summer.

I am currently doing my MBA with a concentration in Finance

I have been wanting to, but sort of shy :) I have done one before—I will definitely start doing more.

3.     Do you know any website that sells vintage clothes? Modcloth.com, Adorevintage, graypeppervintage.com

4.     How does your husband feel about your love for fashion and sometimes mid-rif, cut off outfits?  I have the coolest husband. He loves my style and he is my biggest fan. He also takes most of my pictures except those attributed to others.

5.     What is your workout regime/diet? Because I wish I had abs like your =)

Thanks dear! Did you say abs…hmmmm…I can’t find the abs; maybe flat stomach. :)

I wish I had a regime in my hectic schedule, but I don’t. I eat everything possible, which is not always good. Thanks to a gene or something.

6.     Do you gym regularly? You're quite fit

I don’t gym. I tried going to the gym and even tried Zumba dance sometime last year with my friend, but after two visit…the rest is history.

7.     What would you like to do after school? There are so many things I would love to do after school. To name a few, I would love to work in the fashion/entertainment industry, continue to explore fashion, create a brand, styling, and also putting my Finance degree to use.

8.     What high school did you go to in Nigeria? I went to Queens High School for about 2.5 years before moving to Minnesota and then to here.

9.     What's your dream vacation spot? Fuji/Tahiti

10.   What is your advice for people in college studying? As per getting stuff done on time… Any advice on internships, jobs, etc…

What works for me is having a schedule on what to do and when. Usually I start with the more demanding assignments first. Procrastination is a killer, which I am guilty of when I am beyond exhausted—please avoid it. For me, I avoid it by assuming my assignments are due ahead of time. In fact, I try to forget the actually due date and then create a more recent due date. Surround yourself with people who have great work ethics.

For internships and jobs, attended a lot of career fairs, submit your resume and cover letter to at many jobs and internships as possible and follow up on them too. Start applying months or even a year ahead.

11.  How has married life changed you? I don’t think marriage life changed. I am married to someone that I have known for more the 6 years. We are still the same people just even better. J

12.  How often do you shop? It depends…going to the store physically, may be once a week or once every two weeks. Sometimes I just go for sight seeing and then I brainstorm before I buy. On the other hand, I love online shopping because I find a lot that I can’t find at the store or the store is not in my state. I love a lot of European stores.

Fragrance garden

Hey all, How is the weekend so far? I can't believe my wedding is 47days away from today--yep! and am a bit nervous. All my free time to occupied with wedding runs. Besides that and work, I am trying to get some summer fun.
The heat is ridiculous, which makes it difficult to want to go outside. I am currently working on my favors, so am going to get back to it now :)
