Such Wonderful People

I forgot to post about this one coz of the exams...I can't really remember the date...but I think it was on last...hmmm... okaaaayy...this is tough...hhmmm...SUNDAY!! Yup yup...it was on the very quiet Sunday, just when I was in the perfect mood to study for the IHRM exam...Sharjeel and Sany invited us (Intan, Afiq and I) for a dinner at Nong & Jimmy at Ampang....oooohhh...the foods are just so wickedly yum yum give me dumb dumb heheheh....we had some black pepper crabs....barbeque prawns...cakwe....fried rice...wooaahhh....it tasted sooo niceeee that we will definitely make more belly busters to that place (thanks Sharjeel....that Belly Buster name you created is just so cute heheheh)....it's very crowded there, so people interested in trying, please go around 6 or at least before 7pm..if not, you'll miss out the best foods they have, just like how we couldn't get to eat their delicious barbeque oyster appetizers coz it was finished already...hix...:'(


That night was just so nice...the perfect food, with the perfect friends...such wonderful people with wonderful smiles and laughs...<3

Need Help: Bankrupt!

At last!! Today Intan and I got our hair straightened at some saloon in Wan Utama heheheh....what was it Intan? Oh yeah, it was the new thing called "Relaxer" that (according to the hairstylist) makes your hair smooth and falls nicely hihihihi...and here we are with our newly relaxed hair and Intan also having her hair cut like Posh Spice (she says) muahahaha...

Actually we planned to do some shopping after that, but unfortunately Intan took really long at the saloon coz of the extra cut thingy which made us stayed there for like 4 hours...huah!! So tired...but we were happy though with the result hehehhehe....So after we were done with the hair, we both took a taxi and headed directly to Bangsar for some dinner with my classmates...and yes, we arrived there pretty late...sorry guys...;p Yummy dinner it was...and expensive...huhuhu....hair straightening...fancy dinner....haaaaaa....so long Sharjeel's birthday present huehehhehe....I'm seriously bankrupt...

The Pursuit Of Happiness

Today I finally bought my much loved Indonesian magazine, Tempo, which I habitually buy every week back then in Jakarta. Happily, there was this stall in Ampang that had Tempo...if only I knew earlier that they had Tempo here in Malaysia...hhmm...
interesting...missed it for sure.

And here I am...again...back in the old day’s frame of mind of when I always get this striking feeling of empathy every time I read this magazine....

Tempo, is just a special magazine for me. I think, they have one of the finest journalists and editors up there. They really talk a lot about what’s happening around Indonesia, but in such different perspective. Their words are deep, very momentous. I love the “Catatan Pinggir” column, which is some ‘notes of life’ on Indonesia coming from different authors every week. This week’s is one of the best I must say.

It was given the title of “Mall”. Mall anyone? Seriously, the words of Goenawan Mohamad truly got me. He exposed about the life of shoppers, on how malls became a lifestyle, being a shopping paradise and a go-around place in which people end up carrying loads of new items and slurping coffees with twitters of sugary chuckles till morning. Ooohh, how much happier can life be?

Shopping...lifestyle...even though I am somehow a part of it....but I do hate it in a way...it limits your reason of being in this world...

Hmm...economy grows because of humans’ obsession to have a better life. But remember what Will Smith said in his movie? It’s just a pursuit of happiness. There’s never an end to it, coz the standards will level up each and every day. For the loaded, having a better life may be defined as having an exclusive dinner in a Gucci suit, and yes, having wine and smoking the best cigars in the end. One thing; it is their definition today, not tomorrow. When they become ill the very next day, they don't care about their Baby Benz, all they want is another "better life"; a better health.

Perhaps people have to be in heaven, where all their needs and wants and wildest dreams are satisfied (they say). In that case, obsessions and passion will no longer exist. Or maybe, they become irrelevant. Then we will finally realize, that obsessions are just the same as language; they construct the reality of your world. They become our definition, being the wrongfully guide for every step we take. And yet in the end we'll realize that they are just words, words of what we label as a better life.

This world, is a dictionary. Perhaps it is time for us to learn more definitions, A to Z. Then we’ll understand the real happiness.

This is one of the things I hate the most...is when I can't sleep while I badly want to...haaaaaaa... so sad...and frustating...:( I've been lying on the bed for like 3 hours, and still my eyes are round and fresh with my thoughts going here and there....probably it's because I'm not that tired today....you see, lately I've been staying up all night reading and studying for my exams...but today, all I did was having a full-day shopping at KLCC with my mom....so happyyy hehehhe....so anyways, here I am, still energized that I end up blogging again and again...lol...

Hhhmmmm....I can't understand why I really like to shop....I just find it irritating sometimes...I try sooooo hard to say "No Diana, keep that money inside and don't even think about using it!" and yet I say again to myself "Naaahhh it's just today, I promise tomorrow I won't buy anything.....ANYTHING!!!" Lalalalala...I say that each and every day....sometimes I feel that it's OK since everyone around me does that (and thank you Mom, you are the biggest inspiration ;p)...but then, I do feel disgusted at myself sometimes...it's like I'm being addicted that I buy sooooo many things while I could actually use the money for future needs or donate it to the people who really needs it....I hate myself....:'(

Okay, now I really really understand how artists feel when their creations are pirated...you see, I have this gallery in DeviantArt.com, and people used to take my pics for layouts, wallpapers..or whatever which I really hate but still tolerate coz they are just somehow there on the computer...but this one is...baaaaahhhh!!! I just hate it a lot and was extremely speechless when I saw it in Sungei Wang with Sharjeel....see, my original pic :

Gloomy Day With A Permanent Smile

I dunno why my mood today is not as happy as usual..when I woke up, all I felt was some sadness and a feeling that I lost something....no nightmare, totally an enough 9-hours sleep, but everything just seems to be out of place... hhmmm...:(
Well, btw, my 2002 Class CD is oouuuuttt!!! yayyyy...it's a documentary of my undergrad life, plus pictures of our once and still geeky looks hahahhaha...I can't wait to get it from my friend once I'm in Jakarta....
Another good news, is that my mom finally brought me the GoGirl! magazine and yeah, I see me and my mom therrreeee... hihihi...happy....:)
